Restriction Of Using Mobile Phones In Planes Released

Now you don't have to wait to use your mobile phone while plane is on runway. The Aircraft Rule 29B has been amended by the aviation board that regulates the safety stated that no longer the passengers have to wait for a long time to make or receive calls on their cell phones while the plane is still on the runaway and coming to a halt.

The Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has announced that rom now on the passengers can switch their cellphone minute after the plane has landed. Until now there were restriction on using mobile phones until the plane is on runway and one has to wait for the plane to halt.
The reason behind using this rule was to make communication between pilot and air traffic control uninterrupted. Since if one switch-on his mobile phone the signals might cause disturbance in communication between pilot and air traffic control.
However there is one exception also that, it will be only allowed when the visibility is good, that means mobile phones cannot be switched on in low visibility conditions.
